Edited 26th April: This topic was originally a poll and discussion about whether a white label solution with multi-user login would be beneficial to our users. The outcome was that it would be a useful feature, so please see our more recent post about this.

Well, the premium version may be nice for some people for sure, but I voted no for me. And that price is awfully close to Basecamp's starting prices, which doesn't give much incentive to switch.

One of those features that I would like to see in the regular version of Project Bubble is multiple users. I personally don't need Permission groups, Subdomains, Custom branding, Invoice templates, and File management, but multiple users would be great. And Basecamp's free plan has unlimited users.

Project Bubble currently offers lots of good stuff, I like it. Looking forward to what's coming in the future.

Hi Aaron, what if the price was say $15, and unlimited users?
It's a good conversation to have. More discussion is currently happening in the power users group. Thanks all for your comments.

I agree with Aaron. I voted no also because I feel for something that mostly freelancers user the prices where too high. I would do it for $10/month but nothing over $15.

Project Bubble rules!

I think there are plenty of project management solutions available for teams out there. Bubble seems to fit the small freelancer just fine with a few more features. I'm looking forward to using it to collaborate with the client.

I build about 2-3 sites a year just to keep my skills up. This project was a godsend. I knew I needed a better way to collaborate with my clients, but I didn't know what it would look like, luckily Stu did. Project Bubble combined with Dropbox will get me through I believe.

I agree with Aaron and Matthew, I think the multiple users is something that could be a simple feature to be added. I agree with keeping things very simple. I like the idea of a leveled app.

And yes I think the cost for a premium service should be anywhere below $19.99 per month.

I think what sets Project Bubble apart from everything else, is the constant customer service and new features.

Implementing Dropbox for file storage would be awesome. They offer 2 GB of free space with 250MB for every new member you recommend (up to 3GB).

You can read more about the PHP Dropbox Connection here: http://wiki.dropbox.com/DropboxAddons/PHPDropboxConnection

I wouldn't mind paying $10 for the things mentioned above. File hosting costs could be subtracted if you implement the use of Dropbox. Maybe you can even contact Dropbox about a possible partnership? Shared log-in, file sync, etc.

Anyways, Stu, thanks for ProjectBubble, and my best regards,
Michal Kopanski

It's a tough call. I found Project Bubble while looking for a free alternative to Basecamp. That's not to say your efforts shouldn't be rewarded and your costs compensated--they should! It's just that the audience is largely people like me, who found it when looking for a free alternative.

For my personal projects, PB is already all it needs to be. I didn't cast a vote yet, but I wanted to join the conversation.

@Stu Green: With all of those Premium Version features, I'd say $15 would be a pretty solid starting point (besides the free, standard version), with price tiers for more projects and storage. With all those Premium features, I think you'd be positioned competitively against Basecamp and the others. Plus, looks like there's possibly going to be a new option from Meta Lab: http://getflowapp.com/. I currently use Ballpark, which has been really nice, and if their Flow is project management, I suspect it will be pretty popular.

Having said all that, with what looks to be coming to Project Bubble, you've got a solid offering.

I would be able to do a small monthly rate or maybe an annual rate of say $100. That would very affordable for many freelancers who don't like to run up monthly bills.

Hey all, thanks for your comments and feedback. Based on the responses the likely outcome will be that no such "advanced" version of Bubble will exist in the near future - that is the branded, multi-user sub-domain version with file storage.

However what will happen is there will be a few more features to the existing version of Bubble (e.g. invoice templates, API, recurring invoices and better collaboration), and a small monthly fee will be charged for medium to heavy use of Project Bubble. A free version will still be available. This will happen quite soon.

I am going to be removing the poll and editing the post slightly just so you know.
