Please Help Translate Bubble

We need your help! The language packs can only be made if we get the community together to translate.

I am proposing a new system over the old system which was just a case of 'go on the wiki and do it yourself'. What we are doing now is using the English Master Template.

  • Copy the text from that template (click Edit Page to get the tabular indentation)
  • Paste it in to your language page under the correct section (for example Invoices)
  • Translate!

I will take the translations from the Wiki directly. If I don't have a translation I will use Google Translate.

Please can we do this quickly as I want to do it before the weekend ideally. Thanks

Invoicing Made Even Easier!

Invoicing just got even easier!

Before you had to go back to the main interface to edit your invoice, or if you wanted to just change the title of the invoice for example it was a bit of a pain. Now you can do it all on the same page, easy!

The new toolbar at the top lets you edit the Invoice, the client, and even send the invoice directly from that page. Your clients won't see the same buttons you see don't worry (test on a different browser if you want to be sure).

Another update that will make your life even easier!.

Do you love Bubble? If you feel it's a service worth paying for please go to our Support page where you can make a financial contribution of your choice.

Still trying it out? No problem, we love having you here. Just do us a favour and tell your friends. There will always be a free version available of Project Bubble.

All those who contribute financially will be asked to join our Power Users group. More information on this will be revealed shortly, but all I can say at the moment is it's definably worth being in!

I'm excited to announce that Project Bubble now has iPhone 3.0 support.

You can now use Bubble on the move with the iPhone, iPod Touch and Android mobile browsers.

Full Javascript support now added, with resized viewport. Please note however, things aren't perfect but we'll try and improve the layout over time. Look out for the iPhone app which will be released some point soon.

Feel free to let us know your thoughts. Thank you Bill Chambers for the screenshots.

You can now backup your projects, tasks, clients, invoices and estimates. The CSV export feature allows you to backup your data, which is very important, but also export to other applications that you might want to use with Bubble.

Server Upgrades

Posted: Feb 17th 2010 (1 comments)

Many of you will be aware that last night the server crashed and had to be rebooted three times before it was back up and stable. It took 12 hours to do this and I was up most of the night checking progress and posting updates on Twitter. A full investigation in to this has begun by both me and the web hosts.

Customize Your Invoices

Making invoices in Bubble has just been improved even more. You can now easily edit the Invoice Title, Description and Footer with a nice inline editor.

The main advantages this brings, apart from being a lot easier and simpler to use, is that now the 'description' field can be whatever you want it to be - not necessarily a description but instead it could be your billing details. Also now you can customize the footer per invoice (and estimate), so you can show a different footer on each invoice. This could be useful if you want to express different payment terms, or if you want to put further information relevant to that invoice.

Note: Your invoices won't be affected, its just when you make new ones it will be easier than before.
